The birthplace of Eiji Tsuburaya, creator of Ultraman, Sukagawa City in Fukushima Prefecture, and Tsuburaya Productions have entered into a ten-year partnership agreement in 2023, aiming to become a "City that Fosters the Power of Fantacreation."

This initiative aims to create a warm and vibrant environment where children are inspired by their imaginations and dreams. This initiative also aims to instill pride and confidence in adults regarding their hometown, thereby contributing to the development of a richer community.

Aligned with this vision, the "Fantacreation Festival in Sukagawa 2024" event, which embodied the aspirations of Sukagawa City and Tsuburaya Productions, invited imaginative works themed around kaiju from participants worldwide.
